Accelerometer Sensor - accelerometer test and logger is an Android app for measuring acceleration and acceleration rates.
An accelerometer, for instance, will by definition measure an acceleration of g = 9.81 m/s2 straight upwards when it is at rest on the surface of the Earth. In contrast, accelerometers in free fall (dropping at a speed of around 9.81 m/s2 toward the center of the Earth) will register zero.
It is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to test and record the data that the accelerometer sensor gives you. This app is useful for experiments and for studies.
